Looking Glass was in Lancaster this past weekend for a two-camera wedding video! This was such a unique and fun wedding for us to be a part of. Roxanne and Saul tied the knot at the Kingdom Hall of Jehova’s Witnesses and celebrated their union with a gorgeous backyard reception at the family’s ranch. I also discovered that horses can be camera-shy, but that’s a different story. We started the day with some great shots of the bride and her bridesmaids getting ready, and then traveled to the church to film the intimate wedding ceremony. From there, we traveled down the Musical Road (the sound of your tires on the texture of this stretch of road plays a song as you drive over it – it’s amazing!) to a local park for the portrait session. Although it was far (in LA-terms) from the ceremony, it was well worth the drive. We captured some great footage, and also got to film our first wedding with our new Steadicam! (I think I’m the only one who found this exciting). From there, we traveled back the the reception and filmed an amazing surprise performance by the groom and his groomsmen, prepared just for the bride! We may see them on “So You Think You Can Dance” in the near future.
